  • System Administrator / Automation Architect – London, UK

    We are currently seeking a System Administrator with a minimum of three years’ experience to join our Marketing Technology Team at Automic.  This is an exciting new role with the opportunity to make a genuinely significant impact on how the world sees our software.  You will own the development of our multi-tenanted cloud based preview sandbox as well as maintain the operation of our marketing technology’s cloud server infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Play a crucial role in how the world learns about Automic by developing our online sandbox demo.
    • Maintain and improve the operational upkeep of the marketing technology servers.
    • Work closely with the marketing technology manager to build out a world class sandbox environment.
    • Create walkthroughs to demonstrate the power of Automic.
    • Respond to technical queries and engage directly with prospects and customers.
    • Implement one automation across various areas of marketing technology.

    Key Requirements:

    • Server administration, Centos, Apache, Windows server
    • Amazon AWS and Rackspace.
    • Accomplished using tools like shell scripting, Power shell, MySQL, Java Groovy, Java programming, Web services, VMware technologies and others as the technical solution warrants.
    • Knowledge of JIRA for tasks, issues and bug tracking is helpful.

    Desired:

    • Advanced practical knowledge of one automation platform.
    • Advanced knowledge of one automation administration.

    Education:

    • Associate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is ideal, however equivalent experience may be considered.  A successful candidate needs to be willing to learn new skills as needed.

    Ihre Qualifikationen

    • Mind. 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Umgang mit der Automation Engine (Automic früher UC4) oder eines vergleichbaren Produktes (Control-M, Autosys, CA 7, TWS, Cronacle)
    • Kenntnisse in Unix/Linux und Windows
    • Nachweisbare Praxis mit heterogenen IT- und Applikations- Infrastrukturen

    Job Description:
